Built-up Roofing System (BUR), also known as tar and gravel roofing, is a flat or low-sloping roof constructed by alternating bitumen layers (asphalt or coal tar) and reinforcing fabrics, such as fiberglass or organic felts. These layers are then reinforced and topped with a layer of gravel or a mineral cap sheet to provide protection from weathering and physical damage.

BUR systems are very effective in many different geographic areas and climates, especially in extreme temperatures and weather conditions. They are known for their durability and longevity, with some BUR systems lasting up to 30 years or more.

Single-ply roof membranes are one of the most popular flat roofing materials, ideal for lightweight, cost-effective fast-track construction projects. They work well for a variety of projects with roofs of all shapes and sizes, including exposed roofs, green roofs, cool roofs, ballasted roofs and more, commonly used in large scale commercial projects such as airports and factories.

Wall panels provide a modern look, but can also provide insulation value and a maintenance free building exterior. Metal panel systems help maximize the efficiency and performance of commercial buildings while also bringing aesthetics, structural capacity and sustainability benefits to the drawing table.
